Event at Sheffield Hallam University.
This very enjoyable event was attended by, Martin Wragg, Dennis Gray, Janet & Steve Dean from the BT Trust. More than 200 people enjoyed a series of highly amusing and interesting speakers, describing various aspects of Ken's eventful life.
Ken was a very good friend and supporter of the Trust and the Award, and his passing is an enormous loss to UK mountaineering. It was a most enjoyable event, and a great opportunity in the bar afterwards for old friends to meet up. Ken's contribution to mountain literature was a vast one, and it was good to see his life celebrated with such a joyful event.
